Product information "OBX TGL"
The OBX TGL is an oval, hot-forged aluminum carabiner with a Trilock closure and an integrated ACL system. It was developed for professional applications in rope access, work at height, and rescue operations. Its oval shape allows for even positioning of ropes and equipment and is particularly well-suited for connecting equipment with larger diameters, such as pulleys or ascenders.
The Trilock closure with automatic locking ensures safe and intuitive handling. The ergonomic shape makes it easy to open the gate, while the Catch-Free closure allows for easy attachment and detachment of lanyards and devices. The integrated ACL system secures the carabiner to the harness’s attachment loop and prevents unwanted twisting. This maintains the alignment between the carabiner and the connected device even during demanding movements.
Reinforced contact surfaces improve rope glide and increase wear resistance during regular use. With a breaking load of 24 kN along the longitudinal axis and a gate opening of 24 mm, the OBX TGL combines high load-bearing capacity with versatile applications in professional access at height.
