Product information "OBX TG"
The OBX TG is an oval locking carabiner made of hot-forged aluminum for professional applications in rope access, work at height, and rescue operations. Thanks to its oval shape, it is particularly well-suited for applications where ropes, equipment, or connecting elements must be precisely positioned and reliably guided.
The Trilock closure enables automatic locking and ensures safe handling during daily work. The OBX TG offers a controlled and reliable connection solution, especially for repetitive connection procedures, technical rope setups, or when used with equipment such as pulleys, ascenders, or fall arrest devices.
Reinforced contact surfaces improve rope glide and increase resistance to wear. The Key-Lock/Catch-Free latch facilitates clipping in and out of ropes, devices, and anchor points without annoying snagging. With a 22 mm gate opening, a 24 kN breaking load in the longitudinal direction, 12 kN in the transverse direction, and certification according to EN 362:2004/B and EN 12275:2013/B, the OBX TG is a robust solution for professional rope applications.
