Product information "OBX S"
The OBX S is an oval carabiner made of hot-forged aluminum with a straight gate. It serves as a versatile all-purpose carabiner for sport climbing, alpine climbing, multi-pitch routes, technical climbing, mountaineering, and other applications where gear, ropes, or equipment must be neatly organized and routed. The oval shape helps ensure even positioning of ropes and gear within the carabiner. This makes the OBX S particularly well-suited for rope maneuvers, gear organization, and applications where clear routing of connection points is required. The ergonomic design makes it easy to open the gate and ensures comfortable handling during use. Reinforced contact areas improve rope glide and increase resistance to wear. The Catch-Free closure makes it easy to clip in and out of ropes, devices, and anchor points without annoying snagging. With a gate opening of 23 mm, a breaking load of 24 kN in the longitudinal direction, and certification to EN 12275:2013/B, the OBX S offers a robust and reliable solution for a wide range of climbing and rope applications.
