Product information "OBX BGL"
The OBX BGL is an oval locking carabiner made of hot-forged aluminum for professional applications in rope access, work at height, and rescue operations. It combines the Brilock locking system with an integrated ACL system and is particularly suitable for critical or vibration-prone connections, such as with descenders mounted on a harness or when setting up anchors.
The Brilock system combines the ease of use of a screw-lock carabiner with the added safety of an automatic lock. This ensures that the connection remains securely locked even in demanding work situations. The integrated ACL system ensures proper alignment of the carabiner with the harness’s belay loop and reduces the risk of accidental twisting during use.
The oval shape facilitates organized positioning of ropes, lanyards, and devices. The Key-Lock/Catch-Free latch makes it easy to clip in and out without annoying snagging. With a 22 mm gate opening, a 24 kN longitudinal breaking load, 7 kN with the gate open, and certification to EN 362:2004 and EN 12275:2013, the OBX BGL is a reliable connection solution for professional rope applications.
