Product information "OBX BG"
The OBX BG is an oval locking carabiner made of hot-forged aluminum for professional use in rope access, work at height, and rescue operations. Its oval shape makes it particularly well-suited for use with ropes, equipment, and connectors that need to be positioned neatly and guided reliably within the carabiner.
The innovative Brilock locking system combines the ease of use of a screw-lock carabiner with the added safety of an automatic lock. In neutral mode, the carabiner remains closed while the locking sleeve can rotate freely without opening the gate. This reduces the risk of accidental opening due to vibration, friction, or impacts. In Open mode, the latch remains open, facilitating repetitive tasks and technical maneuvers.
Reinforced contact surfaces improve rope glide and increase resistance to wear during daily use. The Key-Lock/Catch-Free latch makes it easy to clip in and out of ropes, equipment, and anchor points without annoying snagging. With a 22 mm gate opening, a 24 kN breaking load in the longitudinal direction, 12 kN in the transverse direction, and certification according to EN 362:2004/B and EN 12275:2013/B, the OBX BG is a robust connection solution for professional rope applications.
