Compact lightweight HMS screwgate carabiner featuring the innovative Brilock (BG) locking system and our ACL system. Designed for sport climbing, trad climbing and mountaineering.
Main features:
- the Brilock system combines the ease of a screwgate carabiner with the added safety of an automatic locking function;
- when locked, the sleeve rotates freely, keeping the carabiner securely closed even under vibration or shifting loads – preventing accidental gate opening;
- unlike traditional auto-lock systems (e.g. Tri-Lock), the gate stays open when unlocked, allowing fast and easy clipping of anchors, devices, or ropes;
- ideal for multipitch or trad routes where critical connections matter – such as at belay stations, during abseiling, or on distant anchors;
- ample internal space for the use of Munter hitches;
- spacious carabiner crown with circular cross-section to increase abrasion resistance and smooth operation with devices, anchors or ropes;
- >li>double-T profile for excellent weight to strength ratio;
- hot forged for maximal strength and robustness;
- snag-free nose shape designed for maximum freedom when clipping;
- catch-free closure prevents accidental snagging during use;
