INTEGRATED REST LOOP

Integrated rest-loop that serves as a third connection point for taking a rest on an anchor.

ERGONOMIC CARABINERS

FOCUS ON INNOVATION:
BELAY POINT

The models VAEL and SANTNER are equipped with the innovative BELAY POINT.

It is integrated into one or two arms, depending from the models;
It allows the connection of a recovery system for belaying children and beginners from above or for overcoming difficult sections;
If used correctly, it allows you to belay a person from any suitable point on the Via Ferrata and allows you to avoid the cross loading on the hauling carabiner.

The models VAEL and SANTNER are equipped with the innovative BELAY POINT.

The “short-circuiting”due to the so-called 180° misuse of a via ferrata set overrides the energy absorber and can lead to fatal accidents. Short-circuiting is the case if only one carabiner is attached to the steel cable, the second carabiner is attached to a load-bearing part of the equipment (e.g. tie-in loop).

In the models SANTNER, AVERAU and AVERENT the Y-arms are independently connected to the energy absorber. This ensures a short-circuit-proof braking effect;
Whether short-circuit-proof or not – when climbing a via ferrata, both carabiners must always be attached to the steel cable.
